Navy and Blush Key Wristlets

If you're needing a quick and easy gift packed with charm, look no further! These little key wristlets work up so fast! I made these particular ones for the secretaries at my sons' school today for "Administrative Professionals Day". I bought some lanyard hardware in bulk to have on hand for such occasions. I really am a hoarder, it's true! Neat and tidy, but a hoarder! LOL!

These are the fabrics that I chose that fit the color scheme of my entire project. I just love how they work together, even though I found them on opposite sides of the fabric shelves. I really would love putting collections together!

I made two each of the three fabrics. The cute little tags were made using some stamps and paper that I have had for years, but the sentiment worked perfectly for this particular project.

If you'd like to find out more about the rest of the project you can read it about it HERE. Each wristlet was made using a 4 inch wide strip of fabric. I used the entire width of fabric which makes at least 3 wristlets. You can make yours longer or shorter depending on what you like better.
Fold the strip in half and press. Then fold each end in to the middle crease line and press. Then fold that in half. Stitch along the loose edge. I just use the inside of my presser foot as my guide. Repeat on the closed edge as well. Thread your lanyard hardware onto the fabric, wrong sides out. Sew the end shut. Turn the fabric out, line the lanyard hardware up into the two cut ends and stitch shut. So fast and easy!

You can see the entire gift here. Super fast and so sweet! Thanks for stopping by today and visit again soon! Follow me on Instagram @kellylunceford
