Dedicated to Dawn Blog Hop {New Little Bundle}

Welcome to Thimbles and Thread! Today I am participating in Blog Hop in dedication to Papercrafter, Product Designer for Papertrey Ink, and friend, Dawn McVey. She is an incredible woman and an inspiration to me! We are celebrating her as she has just had a much needed transplant that will help her immensely.
We Love Dawn

 Today we will be showcasing some of Dawn's amazing stamp sets and die cuts. I was lucky enough to be in need of some packaging for this baby ensemble that I put together, and Dawn's Made With Love stamp set and Tag Dies are the perfect choice! I created a tag using these products  to add on to the bib. I have lots more handmade papercrafted goodness for this set that you can see over on my other blog Flutter by Atomicbutterfly.

I created this baby ensemble for a sweet friend who is unexpectedly expecting her SIXTH child! LOL! I wanted to make her some fun things for her new little bundle. All of the fabric that I used on today's projects was bought in fat quarters at WalMart of all places. I have used it in the past, but it is just so darn cute!

The shoes are made using some grey anchor fabric. I have made LOTS of these shoes in the past which you can see HERE if you'd like. I changed things up a bit and added some bows, rather than flowers, on the toes that I just love!

If I have left over fabric, which I did in this case, I always like to add a tissue cozy to the gift. I have been making these for years using THIS tutorial, if you are interested!

The Cute as a Button Bibs are always a staple as well. I just love using a mixture of fabrics for a fun, shabby chic feel!

I normally go a little crazy making headbands, but I only made three this time. I always get my elastic at Hobby Lobby because they have an amazing selection.

I've packaged up the shoes in a clear box that I buy in bulk for these shoes.

The card is handmade using some more of Dawn's sets and you can read about that over at Flutter by Atomicbutterfly. Thanks for stopping by today!

I have no need of ribbon but I love that soft peach with the GOLD dots! Gold being the operative word here! More beautiful tributes to Dawn!
