Patriotic Flutter By Baskets and more!

Hello friends! Thanks for joining me today! I've been having the best time creating for the upcoming 4th of July holiday that's a little less than a week away! I wanted to give a few patriotic-themed gifts this year to a few friends in the neighborhood and it's been awhile since I made one of these baskets. I headed to the fabric store and hit the jackpot with these beautiful fabrics. They had a large display at the front of the store, so I just picked the ones that spoke to me and fit the theme of the gifts that would be going inside. There is quite a bit of Moda and some Riley Blake.

If you want to find out a little bit more about what I was putting inside and my inspiration, you can read about it HERE

You can find the tutorial for these baskets HERE. I haven't made one in quite some time, so I needed to follow the tutorial to remember! ha ha!

In that particular post, I talk about what type of interfacing I used. I used to use a lightweight Pellon, but now I HAVE to use a heavier interfacing because it helps them stand up nicely. I probably mention that in subsequent posts when I have shared these baskets.

These handles are attached like usual, but I didn't fold them down like I usually do. I thought it looked like a cute pair of overalls like this! ha ha!

This one has the handles folded down.

I quickly made a few key wristlets using my updated tutorial that you can find HERE

I also bought some new labels; I really like how they look and I can use them for all kinds of handmade projects! Have a happy and safe Independence Day!
